Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival in Paro
Welcome to Bhutan! Bike fitting and safety briefing. Short test ride around Paro valley.
Paro Valley Bike Exploration
Cycle through Paro valley visiting National Museum, Rinpung Dzong, and Kyichu Lhakhang. Approximately 30km of riding.
Paro to Thimphu via Chhona Pass
Cross Chhona Pass (2,880m) with stunning views. Descend to Thimphu. Approximately 45km of riding.
Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass
Cross Dochula Pass (3,140m) with 108 chortens. Descend to Punakha via scenic trails. Approximately 60km.
Punakha Valley Exploration
Rest day from biking. Visit Punakha Dzong, Chimi Lhakhang, and optional hike to Khamsum Yulley Chorten.
Punakha to Wangdue
Bike through rural villages and terraced fields to Wangdue Phodrang. Approximately 35km of easy riding.
Wangdue to Thimphu
Return ride to Thimphu via different route with scenic stops. Approximately 50km of riding.
Thimphu to Paro via Bike
Final ride back to Paro over Chhona Pass. Celebration dinner in Paro. Approximately 55km.
Departure
Morning ride or relaxation. Transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
